    Hi Folks
i served RBOS with 1st letter and letter before actionicon and had the standard replies , before i go online to start the court claim can someone clarify the following
1/is the interesticon reclaimed, interest on the charges added to your account or is it the actual interest charged by the bank on your account each month for beng overdrawn or both !!!!
2/ since advising them of the cost @£4500 they have continued to add interest and charges - should i recalc these prior to summiting county courticon or will the court do this
3/ any loopholes that i should be aware of pror to submission, just making sure i have covered all bases .
4/ what are the current court costs?

    Hi Jim,

The cost is £120, it may be more if your claim is over £5,000....I'm not sure how much more though.

If you can use the spreadsheet to work out the interest on the charges then great. If not then you have to calculate how many days it's been since each charge occured. The formula then is amount of charge X 0.00022 X number of days since charge.

You can charge interest on the interest they have charged you using the same formula, it's tricky because you can only do that if the charges you incurred at that time have put you in overdrafticon in the first place....make sense???LOL, but I did it anyway!

From the date you submit your claim against them, you can start charging interest for every day they don't pay out. When it comes to a court date, or a settlement, you can claim for every other charges and interest they have placed on your account after your claim was filed.....I hope this is clear? I'm not the best at explaining things!!!!

    Good luck!
