Thread: ANYONE succesfully claimed from EGG?

I have been reading alot of threads. I don't see anyone who has successfully claimed from Egg? Please tell me i am wrong!!!

None that i know of - though maybe there are thousands but they've all had to sign confidentiality agreements

Egg look as though they are a tough nut to crack, errr, well, you know

They are defending all claims here, it seems, and adding counterclaims, but we have to wait and see if they are bluffing or if they are truly intending to go to court - I suspect that they ARE bluffing because of the letters the horrid St Clare idiot is sending - he is giving a 'carrot', in that he will settle for the £4 difference in each charge, and also a 'stick', the threat, however softly put, of a CCJ - yet he says he doesn't really want to give us a CCJ and so we should all shut up and go away...I think he's being too forceful in terms of the claim and too soft in what is really his right to be harsh i.e. true debt - so I think they'll eventually fold - it just seems as though they have more balls than most banks/CC companies. I don't particularly care if I lose anyway - my credit rating can't get any worse and it's only £80 in court fees!

I suppose what it comes down to is, WE ALL KNOW THEY CANNOT JUSTIFY CHARGING £20 A POP CHARGES.

I have noticed nearly every body complaining about the p.p.insurance.

When i realised about PPI on mine i rung up to cancel.
At the time i had just assumed i was drunk when i agreed to it..

I think a lot of Egg customers are at the same stage with their claims now hence no word if anyone has won or not. They are certainly giving it all they've got to scare us off. I really hoped they get slaughtered in court, if they go that far.
