After a recent SAR to my finance company i noticed a Used vehicle invoice which showed the 3 month warranty they offered was charged at £100.
This was the first time i had been made aware of the charge as i was under the impression it was offered by Perrys on all cars purchased. Not once was i made aware i was been charged. Neither is the invoice signed by me or a Perrys rep.
I am preparing my initial letter to Perrys asking for a refund as i beleive the warranty was mis-sold due to me not been aware i was been charged for it.
What i want to know is as it is a car dealer who can i make a complaint to if they refuse my claim before i went as far as court action?
Is it itemised or included in the total car sale value in the finance agreement. If so then I do not think you will get anywhere as you signed for the totals inserted.
Then you will also be paying interest and it will work out a lot more than £100 by the time you have completed the finance agreement.
I think you have justification to claim it back and get the payments and interest adjusted accordingly. Just a refund of £100 won't be enough.
The garage and the finance company are joint and severaly responsible so you should duplicate any claim to both of them.
Assuming of course, that you haven't used the warranty.

No i did not claim on it. I am currently paying 38% apr on the agreement and have had it in place for 12 months. Would this mean i would be entitled to claim the £100 plus 12 months interest of 38% which if i understand right is what i will have paid on it so far?
I did not think of it that way until you mentioned it but it will turn out blackhorse stand to make quite a nice profit from something i was not even aware i was paying for?
