Anybody know if First National Tricity Finance Ltd are still Trading??
Hi All,
After going through my mountains of paperwork yesterday I have discovered that when I bought a load of electrical items for my first flat in Jan 2002 I had actually been ripped off!! At the time we were waiting for a payout from my husbands divorce but decided to buy the items on interest free credit with a view to paying it off as soon as the money came through. We explained this to the Sales person who said its ideal as its interest free. However looking at the paperwork yesterday, PPI had been added and interest charged at 29.8%!!!!! I also have a welcome letter from First National Tricity Finance Ltd thanking us for opening an "interest free" account! We paid this all off in September 2002, which I also have a letter for
I have discovered in the last few days just how often my husband and I have been ripped off by these sharks, Egg have done the same and we also have an ongoing case with Black Horse - I can't believe how these people get away with it, its quite shocking.
Anyway, I digress , does anyone know if First National Tricity Finance Ltd still exist????

Please do not PM me for advice as it may be sometime before I can respond.
Keep at them. Do not give way and do not accept all they tell you, they will delay and stall for as long as they can to prevent repaying you your mis-sold PPI.
