Written by John Kruse, one of the leading experts on Bailiff Law, this consumer friendly guide is essential reading for anyone who comes into contact with a bailiff.
The book is easy to understand and clearly explains the rights
a bailiff has, and also what they cannot do when collecting debts and repossessing goods etc.
I have had a look at the links that have been added on this site and it clearly explains that my credit agreements are unenforceable as it does not set out the PPI and the Loan as 2 seperate agreements. With that in mind I want to challenge this loan, can you advise me what steps I need to take next? I have requested the SAR's and have now received all the original agreements but Im just unclear how to move forward and what I have to do next?
Ok you have two issues here 1. the PPI which if it was mis-sold to you, you can claim it back with interest. 2. maybe an un-enforceable agreement i say maybe because it all depends on many factors hence why i sent you to the thread above as they can guide you better on that one there.
Do you have a scanner ? if so can you scan the agreement and post it on the above thread removing any personal details.
HELP..... i have received a letter off clarity this morning after them calling me 4 times everyday for the last 3 days. they are stating that i am owing british gas £453.11 for "an old account dated from 5/3/03-9/3/05"
it says also that british gas sold "my debt" to clarity on the 29/8/08.
i have never not paid my bills and and am still with british gas. they say i do not owe them anything and haven't delt with clarity at all, or even heard of them at all.
this is very worrying for me as i am unwell and do not need the stress of all of this.
in my way of thinking if i did owe the debt, why are british gas still supplying me with electricity. surely it would have been cut off by now!!
i have never had any contact with clarity, or british gas stating i owe this obsene amount!!
