Hi
I purchased a car in 2005 and the repayments were 400 per month over 4 yrs, in June 2007 I missed 3 months payments due to unforeseen circumstances, the finance company defaulted me and took me to court. By the time the court case was heard I had the unds in place to bring the agreement up to date, the judge issued a suspended repossession order giving me 28 days to pay the arrears( this was because I told him I could pay them within 7 days).
On studying the agreement, and reading through tis forum, I became aware that I had been mis solp PPIicon on the account, at a premium of £80.00 per month.
I took this up with he finance company and after many letters and the threat of court action they returned all of my PPI payments.
I have since asked them to remove the efault they have registered, but they have replied to this request with “ Under he terms of the agreement you must maintain all payments even if there is any unresolved dispute” it then goes on to say that the defult notice can not be removed.
This account is up to date now.
Hope someone can help me with this.

Pete
