Default Littlewods PPI advice on how to claim please!

Just been going through all of my old paperwork and come across my old Littlewood statements, and lo and behold, there is over £400 of PPIicon payments. This has been added from my first statement so it looks like they just put it on. I dont remember agreeing or signing anything to do with this, and I only canceled it when I phoned them up asking them what exactly it was for after noticing it on my statement for £25 one month. And its only with the recent media attention that I have realised I have been mis-sold and I can get it back.
    So...
Do I still need to send a SARicon as I already have my statements?
Also, how do I word my letter to them 'requesting' my money back?
And when do I do a CCA request?
Any help is appreciated as I dont really know where to start!

    Hello Ccj,

If you have all of your statement, then there is no need to send a SARicon for those, on the other hand, did you receive any policy document relating to the ppi, your could ask for them if you don't.

Sending a SAR costs you £10 and they must by law provide you with all information they hold regarding you as a data subject. If they don't provide you will all information they breach the data protection act.

I would definately ask for a copy of your credit agreement to what you actually signed up for

There are template letter in the stickies at the top of the forum and loads of them kicking about the different ppi threads.
