Written by John Kruse, one of the leading experts on Bailiff Law, this consumer friendly guide is essential reading for anyone who comes into contact with a bailiff.
The book is easy to understand and clearly explains the rights
a bailiff has, and also what they cannot do when collecting debts and repossessing goods etc.
Was hoping i could tap in to some knowledge of this great site. I have written to a Parking Enforcement and Management Division using a template from this site. I received a letter from them say that it is with there appeal service and that i should for jugment. I was just wounding what i should do next. Because as i stated in this letter it was unlawful ( as stated in template letter ). If anyone can help i would most great fall.
Appeals are 99.99% rejected, Why shouldd they give up the chance that you will be foolish enough to pay them. There is in reality no appeal mechanism.
Do not contact them again in any way from now on.
They hardly ever take court action and if they do there are lots of people here with the experience to defend any action and their defences always win. These people are starved of action because the [problem]mers will forget you if you ignore them and go on to other gullible people who are easier prey. Court at this levels is not scary - just a few people dresssed in civvies sitting round a table in usually shabby surroundings.
As above,-your appeal will be rejected. Its done in house so there will only be one outcome. You could well get a few letters after this from DCA's. Ignore them no matter how threatening-everything will be fine. I and many others on here have been in similar cicumstances and this method really does work.
