    Default galaxygirl v M&S Money

As my previous post, we sent off an initial letter to M&S money on the 9th about a loan my other half took out in '02 - yes I realise that some other posters have said that more than 6 yearsicon are very hard to prove but as we still had copies of the agreement, we thought lets try it anyway.
Today we received a letter from them saying that "enquiries are taking place and when these are complete, we will write to you again"

They also advise that this will be in the next 4 working weeks and "they are sorry that it was necessary" for us to take the time to write with our complaint.

Not too bad I suppose as the PPIicon was £588, lets wait..

Has anyone had any experiences with M&S?

The fact that this was over 6 yrsicon ago has no bearing if you have the documents good for you.

There is no time limit on policies that where mis-sold merely means that they may not have records back that far but as you have the agreement the balls in your court because if they say they have no records you can send them a copy of what you have.

    Good Luck with it.

I have a very big claim going with the Co-op bank 9 loans in all that has had PPIicon attached going back as far as 1999 they said back in September that they only hold records on 8 of them but low and behold in a letter i received this week was further copies which i did not ask for but the one i was missing was enclosed ? this has came about because i sent them a letter asking for full disclosure on my loans including details of the settlements that where used on some of them.

I still have not got this information instead they sent me another batch of agreements lol confusion i think so

Shot themselves in the foot ? i think so another one to send to the fosicon

    Regards

    Pompeyfaith

Thanks for that - I included a copy of the agreement in with the letter so it might speed things up?
Hope things go ok with your letter! xx

    Hello Nat

It took a few months and a good few letters of arguing my case and they settled up with 8% interesticon, without have to go via the fos or court.

In my case the loan was just within the 6yr limit, and I had to push hard for the recorded telephone conversations related to the sale of the loan. They had not supplied them with my Subject access requesticon

You just have to keep at them.

Here is a link to an old thread of mine regarding my disputes with M&S and the Nastywest, the both paid up

    on a mission v PPI
