Like many others, I have a Picture Financial PPI policy, provided by TWG which I am unable to claim from.
The short version of the story so far.
Became unemployed in September 2008
Main mortgage with a major bank. PPI claim accepted and continues to pay the loan on time and in full.
Secured loan with Picture. TWG rejected the claim after stalling for over 10 weeks. I now have around 3 months of arrears with no immediate prospect of payment. On the basis of the rejection and other information I have evidence of mis selling
Picture's loan book was sold for a pound in late 2007, but I understand that the company who now administer the loans, have no legal resposibility for the contractual obligations of Picture Financial.
I have contacted the FSCS and I am in the process of making a claim, but I understand that any compensation may be months away.
To date I have done the following
Made a formal request to FSCS for compensation
Made a formal S.A.R. request to Picture for data to enhance my claim
Written to TWG asking them to look again at my claim.
You need to sell out why your clam has been rejected.
Don't forget that PPI companies are not in business to pay out claims: Only to take your premiums

Just had letter this morning we have won our claim against Picture PPI. we have been awarded just short of £15,000. This is a massive boost to us as taking the decsion we did to go with Picture was the biggest mistake of our lifes!!! its nearly cost us our house and our marriage. although still stuck with loan its fantastic news to get the PPI back. So for all those out there keep at it dont give up!!!!!!
Cheque recieved from FSCS yesterday for full amount + plus interest, to say im happy is an understatement, over the moon. Thanks to everyone for there help. And i would urge anyone else to get there claim in ASAP, i cant beleive how easy it actually was. Good luck to you all.

Great news on the reclaim..I too have a claim with Picture and it's wonderful PPI...
Can I ask you said you got a letter from FSCS stating you had won your claim.Did you get any more correspondence after that.
My Claim went in end of March, heard nothing then called them mid May to be told it had gone to Deloittle then back to FSCS again..I know it takes about six months but surprised at so little feedback from FSCS

Hi,
My claim didnt take that long at all to be honest, i think maybe 3 or 4 months.
My Claim was sent to FSCS then they outsourced it delloite, who contacted (phoned me, then sent claim form back for me to add more info) I sent the form back ASAP then about a month later i recieved a desicion letter from FSCS with cheque enclosed.
I would imagine you should hear something back pretty soon, hopefully a decision letter with a cheque.
