Written by John Kruse, one of the leading experts on Bailiff Law, this consumer friendly guide is essential reading for anyone who comes into contact with a bailiff.
The book is easy to understand and clearly explains the rights
a bailiff has, and also what they cannot do when collecting debts and repossessing goods etc.
I am not at all sure if this is the right place to be posting, or even if i should be bothered with what i'm trying to do.
I had a car accident in Feb 2005 and my case is still ongoing.
I have suffered back pain ever since. I have been to three different physios and they've all discharged me as they say there's nothing they can do for me anymore. I have had MRI scans, x-rays etc etc etc but they can't see that anythings wrong.
I went to see an orthopedic surgeon in Harley street. He has agreed that my back is sore, doesn't quite believe me on how sore i say it is and also says that it couldn't have been the car accident that caused this. So, we're on the brink of going to court, but i'm so scared.
I could go to court and the judge could award me with more than what the third party has offered, then all is fine, but he might not like me and disagree with me, and i'll have to pay £2000 worth of fees.
I'm not allowed to get any more advice from any other specialists, but i was never interested in the money, only to get my back sorted out. The surgeon has now said i will have this back problem for the rest of my life if it hasn't cleared up yet.
I'm just stuck as what to do. Do i accept the third parties offer, do I go to court. What do I do..
This probably doesn't even explain a 1/4 of what i've been through and how much it affects me.
Feel free to ask questions if nothing above makes sense.
Basically, I would like to know if there has been anybody here, thats been to see an orthopedic consultant in Harley street and are stuck with the same problem or just anybody that might be in the same situation as I am..

If you are not interest in the money, take the offer! why put yourself through a court appearance and possibly paying £2000 fees! A court room is not going to sort you back out""
