Written by John Kruse, one of the leading experts on Bailiff Law, this consumer friendly guide is essential reading for anyone who comes into contact with a bailiff.
The book is easy to understand and clearly explains the rights
a bailiff has, and also what they cannot do when collecting debts and repossessing goods etc.
I have found serveral versions for the letter that needs to be sent to a credit card company requesting a copy of the orginal agreement. Could someone give me the most up to date version to send please.

I am a bit confused. I want to try to get the credit card balance written off.
To do this should i use the template letter N or the letter in your link?
If i use the letter in your link would the second stage be the letter N ( i have read on the forum about it being important to include the £1 postal order and your link does not mention this).
Letter N is the letter to send to see if they have an agreement for your a/c. If they don't, you can repay the balance at a rate which you can afford without them adding interest or penalties. Para 5 mentions the fee.
It's not just a method of dumping the debt.
The second link I posted is an alternative route to getting a copy of your agreement if they respond by sending you a copy of their T&C's, which some credit card Co's are doing now.
You'll learn loads by spending some time reading the threads of others in the forums of interest to you.
