    Smile Parking Ticket advice.

    I got a parking ticketicon last june . when I left my Bike parked in an area that had no double yellow lines, no parking restriction notices in place and was casuing no let or hinderance to any other vehicle or pedestrian.

    I argued with the council about the validity of the parking ticket and pointed out all the above to them.
    I had no response to my letter and photographic evidence , so assumed that they had let the matter lie.
    How wrong can a person be ? .

    A few days back I had a letter form the council informing me that the fine had now gone upto £105 and that failure to pay in 14 days will result in
    the bailiffsicon coming to collect, plus the additional costs they will charge.
    I want to know if there is anything I can do. because right now I am less than happy and am thinking along the lines of bloody, murderous , violent revenge.. But know I have to remain calm and rational.

    Any advice would be gratefully received
