    Unhappy Cygnet Finance

Help I am 2yrs into a 3 and a half yr contract with cygnet finance for a car which I cant afford to pay any more I have requested an early settlement figure but for some reason they will not reply to my emails for it. However after a lot of phone callsicon pestering them they said I would still have to pay the full sum owed. so why is their a part in the bill of sale which shows examples of early settlement figures if they dont even let you do it. I have also noticed that my bill of sale is not stamped by the high courts and cant be as I took my bill of sale away with the car on the same day. I have already had to go through the process of claiming false insurance polocies back with this company. I am now paid of work and cant keep up pyments but a friend wants to buy my car off me but didnt think it would cost that much to pay off with an early settlement. please help.

i miht be able to shed some light

if the bill of sale has not been registered in the high court within seven days of sale, its worthless

if you have paid more than a third of the agreement and not in arrears, you can do a vt, end of

under the termination rights on the agreement, it will tell you how much to pay before you can do a vt

after you claimed back the dubiouse insurancies, did you sign a modified agreement for the new payments

    and welcome to CAGicon

How do I make sure the bill of sale is not stamped?
and also some people are saying if it is a HP agreement I cant settle early.

I am 1 month in arrears due to being payed off work but have made them aware that I want to pay them off before they repossessicon. They just dont seem to want to get the actual settlement figure to me in writing.

you can check with the high court if it is registered
it will cost you fifty quid though

lets end this on the settlement biz

if you have paid off more than a third, you can do a vt

send cygnet a letter by recorded delievery
    request a settlement letter
lets see them deny your request in a letter

    also

as you have paid off more than a third, and the bill of sale not registered,
if they do a repo, you will get back every penny back that you paid cygnet

if it is not stamped it becomes just a normal finance agreement
    like i said
before i comment more, confirm if the bill of sale is registered
if it is not, you are in the driving seat on this one
