Thread: Tesco PF Loan PPI

Has anyone had any luck reclaiming PPI from Tesco PF?

I have just sent my complaint to fos, but from what I have read on this & other sites Tesco PF will not repay PPI.

Surely with the number of complaints that have been sent to FOS there must be a case for them to be investigated by FSA?

The final response letter I received from Tesco was full of mistakes & contradictions, are these letters legally binding?

Nat may i first ask is that your real name if it i think you should message one of the site team and get it changed the reason the financial organizations do prey in these forums and you do not want them getting the upper hand on you.

How do I do that?

If you go back to the CAG home page scroll to bottom and you will see a big list of posters the ones in orange are site team click on one of them and post your message that you wish to change your name as it has been brought to your attension that using your real name is not a good idea.

There is no need to send copies of you letters to tesco as they already have them, but while your case is being investigated you may receive more correspondence from tesco if you do copy them to the fos with a coving letter quoting your case number.

If you have only just sent this to the FOS they are very good and will acknowledge your complaint within two weeks and give you the case number.

But be aware as the FOS are snowed under with complaints it could take up to 6 mths maybe longer if it goes to an ombudsman after the adjudicator

Yes Nat i agree fully i have a big case going with the fos amounting to over £25,000 because of the harassment i was getting from the co-operative bank they have just send me a letter saying that my case will be fast tracked.

Unfortunately the financial organisations will swing us along a drag their heels for as long as possible and the £450 fee the fos charge banks for every case they take on is a drop in the ocean to them.

I intend on blowing a big hole in the backside of banks regarding the bad selling practices of PPI all i can say at this point is watch the national papers as im compiling my case for them.
