    Default Woolworths faulty toys???

    Hi
I have a faulty JCB remote control crane which was given to my 4 year old for Christmas. It was purchased from Woolworths and I have the receipt from a relative. As Woolworths have now ceased trading any ideas what I can do to get a refund or replace??? Sadly I think there is nothing we can do but this doesn't help my 4yr old who is very upset and my mother in law who has spent £25 on his present !!

in the event that the retailer is no longer trading I would contact the manufacturer. They should be able to assist you.

    Hi

Chances are your faulty toy is from the Chad Valley range?

Chad Valley exists in name only - the company hasn't manufactured anything since 1978! And, to complicate things even further Woolworths owned the brand name, so it too is currently in limbo...

...Having said that, Chad Valley is a desirable brand (having been associated with quality toys since 1890) and I'm pretty sure will resurface very soon.

Bottom line is, I don't think you'll have much luck with this...

    Cheers

You still have your rights against the administrators, but alas your claim will be at the bottom of the pile.

Is there anyone who can fix it for you or can you get a replacement control anywhere?
