Written by John Kruse, one of the leading experts on Bailiff Law, this consumer friendly guide is essential reading for anyone who comes into contact with a bailiff.
The book is easy to understand and clearly explains the rights
a bailiff has, and also what they cannot do when collecting debts and repossessing goods etc.
hi every one, this si my first thread, im a customer of MBNA, and have been very satisfied with their service, however, having said that , i too was given the PPI, over 4 yrs ago, but was never asked if i wanted it, or if i had any conditions at the time, which i have. ive had osteo arthritis for 10 yrs, so if i made a claim i doubt if they would honour it as this would be a get our clause for them, i now understand that they could be in breach of the consumer act and i could be a case for a refund of all the monthly payments i have made to them fpr this cover, i would appreciate it if someone could get in touch and possibly advise me on this matter, before i start the long treck of reclaiming,
If they didn't ask about preexisting conditions then you probably have been missold - strange as it may seem it might be worth phoning MBNA because the first time I did that as I had been sold PPI when I was a student they were actually very co-operative and just said send you proof of student staus in and they will refund it
If you can keep you head when all of those around you are losing theirs try parking your helicopter somewhere else
thanks for that information i will contact them tomorrow, hopefuly they will br helpful, after reading some threads some have been helped easily by MBNA, and some have been given the runaround, so keep your finges crossed for me, and once again thank you for contacting me regarding this matter,
regards Yorkshire rose
