Hi ,i would like some advice if possible ,i am currently on a dmp with cccs at the moment have been struggling for the last 12 months ,after looking at some of my credit card statements i have noticed that i have been paying payment protection insurance on about 3 or 4 of them is it possible to claim these back ,any help much appreciated ,thankyou

If you believe that they were mis-sold, mis-applied of course you can start the process of reclaiming them back, plus interest
Possibly the first thing to do would be cancel them as you would probably be unable to claim on them anyway, if the accounts have been defaulted.

hi i didnt ask for it on one as i wasnt aware that i had it ,another was sold to me over the phone ,i dont know if i could have claimed or not and dont know really how to find out as most of my debts are now with DCA and cccs pay them all ,any idea how i would find out ,thanks again
To get all the information you need , send an SAR recorded delivery to all the companys involved, though this will cost £10 per company.
If you know for sure any where PPI was added without you asking for it, then write and complain and see what they come back with before you send an SAR as £10 per company could be expensive.
