Written by John Kruse, one of the leading experts on Bailiff Law, this consumer friendly guide is essential reading for anyone who comes into contact with a bailiff.
The book is easy to understand and clearly explains the rights
a bailiff has, and also what they cannot do when collecting debts and repossessing goods etc.
So the 8 week time limit I gave the HSBC to respond is up, but they have wrote me a letter asking till the 29th of January to get back to me. Shall I just give them more time, write back to them and tell them this is not satisfactory or complain to the fos?
8 weeks is more than enough time for an organisation the size of HSBC to respond.
I would send another letter stating this and you will expect a reply in 7 days from the date they recieve the letter failing this you will get the fos involved.
