Written by John Kruse, one of the leading experts on Bailiff Law, this consumer friendly guide is essential reading for anyone who comes into contact with a bailiff.
The book is easy to understand and clearly explains the rights
a bailiff has, and also what they cannot do when collecting debts and repossessing goods etc.
Any how over xmas I got a note through the door from the postie saying they had accidently put next doors mail through my door and could I repost it. fair enough. Trouble is there was no mail apart from a couple of cards previously and I posted them through next door. End up with neighbours repeatedly knocking the door asking for their mail over a week period which wasnt put through and at same time my mail is going missing with no explanation. So a little miffed but leave it at that.
I get a knock and its a man asking me to sign for goods for next door as they are apparantly out. I say no, call on them again or try another house. The man said I was mean. I wasnt rude just said no.
I would have recently not thought anything of doing a favour for a neighbour, but with fishing dcas in the past I cant trust anyone now.
