I had a transaction on my paypal business account, what i sell is completely legal in the u.k but in the u.s the laws vary from state to state. The funds were sat in my paypal account and i supplied the customer with a tracking number as proof of shipping. Also the order was insured to the maximum £500 (even though it is worth half this) under royal mail. Now, i have had only 3 transactions on my account with paypal 2 are for books purchased from ebay (all paid for and funds cleared my end) and the only othertransaction is the one i have already mentioned. My account has now been restricted permanently because of violation of terms and conditions ( i do not supply counterfeit or pirated goods) and paypal have informed me the funds will be held for 180 days in case of any charge backs. Now paypal can see exactly how many transactions i have done and whether they are complete, and as i have 2 confirmed and one with a tracking number and also insured, i fail to see where any charge backs can come from seeing as though my account is restricted and i can neither pay for or receive funds. Also when i finally found paypal s customer service number i kept getting redirected to log in to my paypal to lift restrictions ( which i am unable to do there as it states permanently restricted) So, what course of action can i take with this? surely this is a [problem] to bank the said payments and accrue interest, as i have no chance of charge backs and the other two transactions are confirmed.
