My computers been away along time what do i do
I have Whatever happens
If you have whatever happens and your laptops been away for more than 21 days request a replacement, this is listed in your coverplan documents.
I have Coverplan/PC Proformance
If you have Coverplan or PC Proformance then unfortunatly its longer with being 6 weeks before you can ask for a replacement. again this is in your documents
I dont have extended cover its under the first year
This is one the stores dont like mentioning, if its been away longer than 28 days then you can request a replacement from the store, this cannot be done through the call center and has to be done instore it is a store procedure.
ive been refused a replacement as they say the gap is too long
if it has been away for multiple repairs in a short space of time then try for a "poor service history" writeoff, this should be requested through the call center
My computers been written off/had the harddrive changed i need my photos
If your computers been written off
The hard drive should have been held if you request this back and the hard drive can be traced then they will ussually return it however they do leave it upto you to recover data
my hard drives been changed
This is harder request it back if its under a year old it becomes the manufacturers as its a straight swap it depends on the manufacturer some do charge for it to be returned, its under coverplan/whatever happens if requested and can be traced they do ussually return the drive.
I want the transcript of my calls
Ask the Call center for the data protection address to write to they will also provide information on how to get this service, this is a legal thing and they are obliged to do it.
I want to make a complaint about the call center/repair/engineer
Ask the call center for the complaints address they do have this stored and will provide it on request do not simply make the complaint over the phone as it will simply be logged on the system if written it will be delt with and replyed to
