    Default Egg PPI

i had/have a loan with Eggicon for over 6 yearsicon (was renewed) - My original loan was a lump sum insurance which i was told i had to have for illness & unemployment. this was over £2800 on top of loan.

I was made redundanticon in June & claimed insurance - they denied that i had unemployment insurance but only illness (although it does say on my agreement) - this forced me to go into default on the account & was passed on to a DCAicon. Which i arranged to pay £2/month (success).

But i want to claim for the mis-soldicon insurance etc - what do i do? & do i have a case?

Do you have what Egg said in black and white? If not then it's your word against theirs as to how they sold or mis-sold PPI. However Egg has been heavily fined recently for PPI mis-selling (via telephone not via online mouse tick), so given this previous form the regulators may give you the benefit of the doubt.

"It does say on my agreement" - WHAT does it say? If it's a paragraph or two can you post the precise form of words? If the words say you are covered for unemployment and Eggployees wilfully deny same, then in present circumstances you would deserve not only back payment but compensation for distressicon caused. With "previous" Egg ought to know better than that, but everything depends on the wording, and whether you qualified.

What was the requested time? There haven't been many working days since Mistermind's advice.
