While a judge has given a ruling this is on the first stage of the test case and more stages are likely to follow over the coming months. Although we are not one of the current account providers involved in the test case, we intend to follow any subsequent guidance given once the process is complete.
The FSA granted a ‘waiver’ to the Banks to make the test case possible. the waiver relates to customer complaints about the legality of unauthorised overdraft fees. This means these complaints remain on hold until the test case is resolved and we are advised by the FSA that the waiver is being removed so customer complaints relating to unauthorised overdraft fees will remain on hold for now.

Do you claim benefits, or if you have mortgage/rent arrears, council tax arrears, any other bills where you are in arrears, red bills, final demands. plus any other debts that you may have. Take photo copies of any you have and send them asap. Here is the hardship letter if you need it.
