Written by John Kruse, one of the leading experts on Bailiff Law, this consumer friendly guide is essential reading for anyone who comes into contact with a bailiff.
The book is easy to understand and clearly explains the rights
a bailiff has, and also what they cannot do when collecting debts and repossessing goods etc.
Hey guys, im posting in respect of my gf. She currently has talk talk (says enough). Shes tied into a contract untill july 09.
Issues began around 3 months ago, when her internet went down. contacted them and no help. Finally got thought to sombody and they said that they had been disconnect from the exchange and blamed BT. (i work for bt) and i looked into it. Ofc it was bull doody.
They then accepted it was their fault and reconnected us. (2 weeks without service). 3 months later, Every 5-10 mins day/night/morning come sun or shine, the net just drops off and i loose the connection. Thats just during the day, 9pm + we cant even friggin connect!
What can i do about this, this has been happening for 3+ months now. We can drop the contract as is legally binded etc. I know i can complain using basically saying you are not suppling me with the service i am paying for (i think =D)
can i get compo, or is there a flaw in the contract. anyhelp will be loved thankx
i had the same things happenned to me , i have tried it before christmas and my connection went down !?!?!?!
i have tried to ring them up but they keep telling me it is down to BT then my line then my ex ISP provider etc.... ..... i had enough of them to be honest !
Does anyone know what can be done. In reguards to them not supplying me / us with the shoddy service were paying for and not recieving and/or compo against them =D i feel greedy
I always write to the address, and I insist on them giving me a resolution date or deadlock letter in writing. (then I follow their escalation process... normally things are sorted before it reaches this point)
Also, your contract works both ways, and you can take them to court for breach of contract, as you will have to go elsewhere for your broadband and phone service and they are unable to supply what they are contracted to do. (installspark is well versed in taking this route, if he pops in I'm sure he'll give more info if you need it)
