Hi Everyone,
I'm new to the forums so here goes...
Sent my Prelim letter to Customer Relations Dept on 3rd July and recieved the standard fob off letter on 10th July from the now infamous Stuart Higley.I'm a bit confused though as to where to send my lba to. At the bottom of Stuart Higleys letter it says
'Please ensure that any Proceedings are served on our Registered Office address..'
This is the address on 135 Bishopgate, London - is this where I send my LBA to, or should it go to Customer Relations Dept
Sorry if the answer is stirring me in the face or is in the FAQ.
No problem it can be confusing, if you take the bank to court you need to sent the court claim to their registered address in London but your lba can either go to your local branch or Customer Relations office, it all ends up in the same place anyway.

Great!
Just filled in my lba and list of charges ready to be posted tonight...
14 days and counting..
I can't wait to take Natwest to the cleaners. Over 2 years I have been banking with them and incurred £844 in charges. It's so good to hear the stories of other people in the same situation on the forum. It has been such a strain getting all these bank charges and you asume because it is your bank what they are doing is lawful. When ofcoarse it isn't!!!!
I had the EXACT same letter today - we must have been in the same batch! i am sending mine today. A word of advice, i noticed my recorded delivery didn't get registered as delivered with RM so i sent the last letter via special delivery - it cost me £4.10 BUT i was there the next day at 10am with full barcode tracking on the RM Website. i will be sending this one special delivery too
Great advice Kerry8Lampard, I was thinking of sending mine recorded delivery but I think I'll go Special Delivery now with you, are you sending your lba to Customer Relations Dept aswell?
Yeh recorded Delivery is abit funny, you can request proof of signature but that just takes time and costs you £2.20. I would do it special delivery just so that at least you know its there, signed for and then problems solved!

Hi All,
Just wanted to ask, after people have started court action what is the average length of time it is taking before Natwest make an offer?
I'm just curious to know what their stalling tactics are like. I am sooo skint all because of them and their stupid 'Referral fees.. Card misuse fees'
Anyways, any replies would be much appreciated.
Well, if this helps, i issued my claim on 30th May and i'm still waiting. They have until 23rd July to submit their allocation questionnaire, then the courts set a date court date. It does take a while, be patient ... and good luck
Ross

Thanks for your replies..
As you know it is just REALLY frustrating, but it will be worth it in the end.
From what I have read most people get a settlement before actually going to court.
It is the LAST thing I would want, the thought of standing before a judge is really scary.
Anyway, lets see when we get a response from our lba's Kerry.
Mine was signed for the day after i posted it so hopefully we should have replies the middle of next week! it's definately worth forking out the extra money to send it special delivery!
If it does go that far (which i doubt very much it will) just remember, judges are just people like me and you with different jobs, just probably more educated (well, in my case anyway) ... they're more likely to listen to what you have to say with interest and empathy than to dismiss you as silly littlemichelle. BUT, it probably won't come to that anyway.

Thanks for the piece of mind laffar
Your right, probably getting nervous for nothing.
I sent my lba to Customer Relations but I didnt address it to that Higley man - then again I didn't last time.
They probably know without even opening it what the letter is going to be. I bet they arrive by the lorry load!!
Well as the days are ticking by I wait for the reply to my lba was just wondering..
If the total I am claiming is £844 does anyone know roughly how much I will have to pay to file my moneyclaim??
Need to know how much I will be paying out next week!
