Default help! courtesy car + parking with UKPC

    hi,

first off would like to say due to an accident last week my partner is currently driving a courtesy car.
This evening we decided to go to Ashton moss retail park and watch a movie, now with the courtesy car being BRAND new (45miles on clock when recieved) She parked the car over the white bay line in the hope the car would not get scratched.

This resulted in a UKPC letter on the window with the 'Vehicle parked out of marked bay'
Ive gone over this forum lots of times and really hope were able to follow the templates suggested but I would like to get some help to see if this is still possible due to the car being a courtesy car.

Basically what will happen / Can we still dispute the issue that they cant prove who the driver was?

    thnx in advance
    lec

p.s. I would also like to add the car park is free

ignore the PPC, make sure the car provider just passes on any letters on to you and doesn't do anything daft like pay them. post up pictures of the invoice - suitabley washed of identifying details.

You go for a night out, and bingo you get these jokers plonking you with an unenforceable invoice.
Get round to the garage where this car came from ASP and tell them what has happened with the ticket.
If this company(PPC) contacts you as a result, do not speak to them, call them , pay this invoice or tell them who was driving the car.
They have ZERO powers in law for you to tell them anything, mums the word.
The weak link in the chain is the garage, so tomorrow get down an tell them, as they might pay this invoice, slap charge on for doing it.
Please ensure next time you park, never mind the paint, make sure it is between the lines, as prevention is better than the cure, and avoid parking in these places again.
