The horrible thing about it is that if it was one of your friends that did it in your home they could claim off your liability as owner of the property... its a shame its not geared up to protect you.

I imagine that if it did cover the owner/residents of the property, the premiums for home insurance would be higher than they are now. I'm not aware of any home insurance policies that offer personal accident cover as an add-on, although they probably do exist. Alternatively, you could buy a standalone family personal accident policy, athough that still wouldn't normally cover dental treatment (even if required due to an accident). However, it would cover things like loss of limbs/eysight etc
