Thread: Parked in a restricted street during .......

Hi everyone, Recently I have recieved parking ticket. In my opinion there is none double yellow line in front of my car. What do you think? Can I challenge this? Thanks for all replies.

A DYL offence is committed when any park of the car is over the DYL. It would seem from the photo that your car does encroach on the line.

It seems a most perculiar set of lines though, there is no clear bay where you are parked, but the DYL does not go right up to the white line of the bays leaving an area of "no man's land"

If you post a pic of the pcn (delete your details from it first), there may be other legal things that can be checked for errors.

Needs the Traffic order for this street. Is it the angle of the photo?
