Written by John Kruse, one of the leading experts on Bailiff Law, this consumer friendly guide is essential reading for anyone who comes into contact with a bailiff.
The book is easy to understand and clearly explains the rights
a bailiff has, and also what they cannot do when collecting debts and repossessing goods etc.
I was driving a rental van recently and have received a 'parking charge' for the above offence.
The picture included on the pcn is of low quality, but I believe it to be the yellow hatch marks outside a B&Q in a retail park (Cantium Retail Park, Old Kent Road)
I asked inside if I could park temporarily (it took me less than 2 mins to load) so as to load a large christmas tree into the van and was told yes.
I've obviously read lots about UKPC in other threads, but the rental company has already passed my rental agreement and therefore my name onto UKPC.
I guess I'm looking for advice as to if I should contest via writing or just ignore.
For curiosity, given that you don't mention a parking attendent or ticket, was it issued via CCTV? You could cause them a pain in the neck by asking for footage and or complaining to the information commissioner as it is likely they are processing your data illegally.
