    Default am I parked if I don't get out of the car?

    I got a fine from excel parking at berkley precinct in sheffield. After dropping my wife off in the car park, albeit in a parking space. I went home and returned 2 hrs later to go shopping. I then received an invoice for returning within a 5 hr period! the previous visit was for less than 5 mins and I didn't leave the car, or even turn off the engine. I am, understandably annoyed. what is the next step?

    The important word here is INVOICE!!!
    the next step is to very carefully fold the invoice in half,
    then in half again
    then again
    and again
    again
    again
    and if you manage 1 more then you have proved that you CAN fold a piece of paper in half more than 7 times.
    Having proved(disproved) this theory drop the waste paper in the bin.....

    Hi Hollybob.

    As FlyingDoc suggests...just do it. Tickets from PPC's are just INVOICES. I know it sounds strange but ignore the notices and any further notices even if they become threatening-(bailiffsicon etc).... nothing will happen. I have been in the same position as you on a few occasions and the people on the forums are brilliant for advice. Have a look around the site and look at the stickies and other threads posted. They will put you at ease!
