Written by John Kruse, one of the leading experts on Bailiff Law, this consumer friendly guide is essential reading for anyone who comes into contact with a bailiff.
The book is easy to understand and clearly explains the rights
a bailiff has, and also what they cannot do when collecting debts and repossessing goods etc.
My good friend Steve told me some tall story about Bank charges being illegal, but it turns out not to be such a tall story at all! So hello to you all. ok Steve what do i do next!
Take your time and have a good read of the FAQs and the templates letters, followed by a browse through many of the threads in the forum for your bank (see links in my sig, below). When you are ready to start, post in your bank's forum and report your progress in that thread as well as asking your questions (there won't be too many if you've read the FAQs properly) and you will get the best out of this site and all the accumulated experience here!
Just one minor point - the charges are not illegal (i.e. criminal, as much as we might like to think so) but unlawful (breaking civil law).

Hi Jon, yes this is my very good friend jon who can't even spell his own name (supposed to be jonnywray), bless. First jon you will need to go to the FAQ's and read through there (if you get to any long words then you can ring me up and I will read it to you). Then you can start a thread in the banks you belong to (for you jon it's Barclays and Abbey) and report your progress and ask any questions.
Good luck mate.
P.S. I just know he will hit me for this patronising post but hey ho! life is dangerous
