    Default starting abbey reclaim

Hello everyone, I have been a member of this forum for a while now, but have been very busy trying to sort out my debt problems, I now really need to sort out my claim for bank charges, I noticed there are two letters in the SARicon templates which one should i send? I also am not sure which Abbey address to send this too, can anyone help.At the moment abbey have passed my account on to a DCAicon, but i dont want to pay it, until i have cleared up which are charges and which are genuine debt,s.
They pulled my overdrafticon facility from under my feet and left me in debt they did hit me hard with charges.
    Thanks

    Hi, Robot_roo.

This is the one I used, don't think it realy matters, which one.

    http://www.ico.gov.uk/upload/documen...a_subjects.pdf

    Here's the Abbeyicon addresses.

    http://www.consumeractiongroup.co.uk...-contacts.html

    Good luck with that.

    Regards.

    Scott.

I have written all sorts on cheques: Barclaysicon, Barclaycard, Barclays Bank for instance.

I see at the Abbeyicon site they still call themselves (at the bottom of the page) Abbey National Plc. That would probably do the job, unless someone else has a more definitive answer.

Abbey : Online banking, Mortgages, Savings, Current Accounts, Credit Cards, Personal Loans, Insurance & Inves

Hi thanks Davey, I was not sure because I know they changed their name to abbey instead of abbey national, so I found it a bit confusing!!

See if anyone else has any thoughts on this as well.

Actually no post to speak of anyway is there at this time of year and first class ends up getting there so late! Stamps are going up as well! grrrr

It seems strange though.. every time i put an envelope i have received next to the kettle, the stamps seem to fall off.. and, ermm can sometimes fall right on the envelope i want to then send! This is purely an accident though! And i would never condone reusing stamps or anything like that!!!

They kept the Abbeyicon National name as that is the name registered with companies house but are known as Abbey for trading purposes. There is a building firm with just the name Abbey.
