Hi my name is Joseph and I thing I been charged with an unfair parking ticket and may need help and advice to go trough this.
On the 8th of October I parked my car outside the Redhil train station car park and like i do for the last 4 years or so, ones every two month I have to go to London and park my car there and get in the train to London to a meeting and back at 8 pm.On this day i been issued with a car park ticket, don't really remember for how much, but i had displayed the parking ticket that i always buy. So when i get to the car i saw the ticket and very upset got to the train station and asked why do i have a ticket if i paid the parking for the day?
the person working there asked me where was i parked, and apparently i was parked in a unauthorized area but nothing displayed in that area saying this area is for members or what ever i binned the ticket and came home.
today i received a letter from roxburghe dept collectors saying that i have to pay 105 pounds or they will take me to court.
i have paid the parking fee that day and now i have to pay 105 pounds with a lots of financial problems i cant and please ask for help

Hi Joseph, sorry I know noyhing about parking tickets but there are lots of people here who do. I just wanted to welcome you to CAG Did you pay the ticket on the day you got it?

This was a ticket from a private company, with no mention of any byelaws in any of the paperwork? Which company?

If this is correct, you just have an invoice from a private company which can be safely ignored.

• do not pay
• do not contact them
• don't pay any attention to their hollow threats of court
• they will give up and go away eventually

as it is Roxburghe writing it will be a PPC. standard action applies then......

read the private parking stickies here and some of the many threads. do a search here on roxburghe. post of a picture of the letter from roxburghe - suitably washed of personal details. don't pay them, don't contact them.
