An action shall not be brought upon any judgment after the expiration of six years from the date on which the judgment became enforceable
It has been held (seeLowsley v Forbes) that "action" here does not include execution of a judgement. However, I believe it is the case that the court's permission is required to enforce a judgment more than six years after it was made.
