Default Miss sold by First plus

I have been told by a credit agreement company that I have a good claim against First Plus, for a miss sold insurance policy,, should I go with the credit company who will charge, or can I do it myself and if so where do I start.

    Hello KA,

You should stay clear of anybody who will help you do this fora percentage of your money Worse than the original perpurtraitors in my mind, who make a quick buck on the back of others

The process of reclaiming back mis-sold ppi is as follows:-

Read the sticky regarding ppi and other information

PPI - Some Notes for Claimants

Send the company a Subject access requesticon, you will find the template letter in the ppi stickies on the front page of the ppi forum. Send the £10 fee and wait till the info comes. They have 40days under the data protection act to comply.

Full Subject access request for ppi

Whilst waiting for this info, you need to read around the threads to educate yourself on the journey ahead.

Once you receive your sar, work out your figures and put them onto a spreadsheet, to work out the interesticon you require.

Send your preliminary letter asking for it back, stating the reasons you feel it was mis-sold. give them 14days

If no response or a respond that is give is not to your satisfaction, send your letter before actionicon.

If response not satisfactory, you then have the option of going to the financial Ombudsmanicon service or issue at court.

This process does not happen overnight and can take a while and you must be prepared to have to put up a bit of a fight to get your money.

As you can see from the stick successful claims we have had many successes

If you can post up more details, we will try to advise, assist you along the journey

If any of my posts are helpful, please feel free to click my scales. All information is given as my opinion only, based on my own personal experiences. I have no legal training, but have educated myself in aspects of consumer legislation. My motto "NEVER GIVE IN, NEVER SURRENDER", THERE IS A WAR ON YOU KNOW
