Default No statements from Barclaycard since LBA

I started claiming my charges back from Barclaycard last year, about the same time as i started against Capital Oneicon. As usual i got the same old replies, "our charges are fair" blah blah blah.

Capital one have continued to send me statements and even passed my account on to a DVA but Barclaycard havent sent me a single thing. No statements or letters.

Has this happened to anyone else??? Im afraid of gettin a statement in the post now saying i owe them hundreds. Please advise

    Hi Kibby,

Can you confirm exactly how far you got with the claim.

If you've had no recent statements, I think you need to send an SARicon with the £10 fee to see if you've suffered more penalty charges recently.

Then set about reclaiming the whole lot from scratch.

If you read other threads here, you'll see BC are refunding charges with little opposition. But you have to use the correct procedure and reply to them if they turn you down at first.

Stick with it this time and you'll get your money back.

    Hi Kibby,

Have you had Mercers or any DCAicon's onto you about this a/c. Normally, when you stop getting statements, it's when the a/c is out of order and they start hassling you for payments.

Get the statements and you'll see if there are any recent charges on the a/c to reclaim.

The thing i find so weird is that i have received no documentation or phone callsicon from barclaycard or any DCAicon. Im kinda thinkin right now that its probably too good to be true cause im sure they are piling on the charges. Ah well, just means i'll have more money to claim back lol

Im gonna send the S.A.R on monday and take it from there.
