Written by John Kruse, one of the leading experts on Bailiff Law, this consumer friendly guide is essential reading for anyone who comes into contact with a bailiff.
The book is easy to understand and clearly explains the rights
a bailiff has, and also what they cannot do when collecting debts and repossessing goods etc.
I received a parking ticket at Asda last weekend, however I am pretty sure it should be easy to have it cancelled.
Asda allows it's customers 2 hours of free parking. However, on the ticket it says my vehicle was first seen at 10.00am, and the ticket was issued at 10.35am!
Any advice on how to go about getting this cancelled will be much appreciated.

Surely you read the signs? Other contraventions you could have been penalised for could be:
1. Parking in a disabled bay without a badge.
2. Parking over the white lines.
3. Parking in a parent-child seat without displaying a valid kiddy-seat.
4. Leaving the site to do your shopping elsewhere.
5. Failing to buy enough ASDA special offers.
6. Parking on a day when the attendant is not managing to reach his targets.
7. Parking in the type of car that the attendant wants but can't afford.
8. Parking on a day when the attendant has had a row with his other half and wants to make life miserable for someone else.

More seriously, by all means write and point out their error. But bear in mind their administrative abilities may mean that they "reject your appeal" and issue numerous bits of ignorable confetti. So keep all paperwork and you're welcome to come back here any time for moral support.
By the very nature of the tickets, all ASDA tickets are unenforceable, like all other PPC tickets.
If you have a problem with ASDA then go somewhere else, or just treat the tickets for the joke they are.
Never file them in the dustbin, put them in where you can access the ticket if required.
