first action - if you intend to defend - is to write to the northampton court and request a transfer of proceedings to your local court.

they should grant it with no problems.

The only reason they come from the northampton court is because thats where all internet issued proceedings eminate from.

I can't see how a "car was over line" contravention can be persued without a photograph!

I would agree. burden of proof is on them - if they claim you were parked over the line, and you claim you were not. They have to prove their case - without a photograph they will be hard pressed to do so.

I would also suspect that if you got the case moved to your local court they would not even attend. I suspect they would merely make a written representation.

Why is photographic evidence anymore relevant for an out of bay fine than any other?

Blimey - like blood from a stone this. Where!!!!

also, yo said you wrote - what exactly? Full sequence of events needed.

Title of latest document? - I'm guessing Charge Certificate.

Ideally scan and post all of the 'ticket'. I say 'ticket' since you mention 'traffic warden' so we don't know what we are dealing with yet.

    Probably decriminalised if TEC involved.

I think what he is looking for is something like this.

On ..... we went to a shopping center and parked - we were issued with a ticket (SCAN OF TICKET BOTH SIDES IF POSS)

we wrote to the ticket office on - saying - this and we got no answer so we wrote again on - saying this and got no answer....

if we can get a full and detailed story we may be able to offer a more qualified opinion..

    thanks
