Default How much do I claim for? Help ASAP!!

My wife and I remortgaged with HFC/BENEFICIAL FINANCE in November 2006. We think we claim a refund on the PPIicon for a couple of reasons , one of which is that it's only my wife that's covered and not me!!
We haven't a clue how much to claim for.
Loan was for 40,000 over 240 months and monthly repayments are loan 504.74, PPI 109.02.
I find it staggering that we'll be repaying 26,164.80 for the insurance alone!!!!!
    Any help would be greatlyappreciated.

Beware of legal advice given on a private forum - do you REALLY know who is posting? Are they REALLY accountable for their posts? What if you follow their advice and get something wrong?

Mine is a monthly premium so do I claim 24months x 109 quid which would be 2616 and then add 8% which would then be 2825.28. Or is there another interesticon rate I should claim for?

You should find out the rate of interesticon that was added to the premiums which will be stated in your Credit Agreement if you have a copy. 8% interest should only be added at Court stage if your file an N1 ...
