Written by John Kruse, one of the leading experts on Bailiff Law, this consumer friendly guide is essential reading for anyone who comes into contact with a bailiff.
The book is easy to understand and clearly explains the rights
a bailiff has, and also what they cannot do when collecting debts and repossessing goods etc.
have had a letter today saying they are not going to give me anymore money than what they offered which is half please help, what should i do.I think its court for me they are not backing down.
I would tell them no. You paid a fiver for them to print out the statements they sent you. If they want a duplicate set they can damn well print out a set themselves...at their own expense...

A friend had this from Abbey. I told him to ignore it - the court could hardly claim both parties were not privy to the same info, as they provided it to him in the first place.

Just ignore it or ring them nd say no, it's your property. Although I would be tempted to say 'Yes of course you can have them. I will send you copies at £5 per sheet. Thank You!'

Actually, I quite like the idea of charging them £5 per sheet.

have had another letter today saying
"i note that you are to instigate legal action against the bank and i have alerted our lawyers and litigation department accordinly.
i shoul explain that the OFT paper of april 5th was in fact a statement regarding administration charges on a credit card rather than a direction and we have until the end of the month before we have to respond."
Please can someone tell me wot all that means.
