    Hi,
I had a planned overdrafticon with Lloydsicon that they have now changed to unplanned and are now charging me £240 per month for it. I have no hope of repaying it in the near future. Do I have any other options, please

under what circumstances have they changed it to unplanned.

A bank cannot suddenly decide to withdraw overdrafticon facilities when there is still money outstanding in the overdraft.

    Hi,
Thanx for the response. There were no circumstances. They just wrote to say they were changing it to unplanned and started charging the fees. I shall look for their letter and post it here

    Hi,
I have now found the letter from Lloydsicon. Basically they reduced my agreed overdrafticon from £3000 to £250 and now consider the difference as unplanned. As my overdraft was £2500, they said unless I pay £2250, they will continue to apply fees amounting to about £240 per month. I have not yet found the original T&Cs but remember that there was a clause that said the limit would be reviewed periodically. I wil post the terms as soon as I find the documentation.

that seems incredibly unreasonable to me. Did they say why they were reducing it?

    Hi,
Well the letter said I failed to pay the overdrawn amount when the bank demanded it and am therefore in breach of the overdrafticon Agreement as the bank "has the right, at any time, to request immediate repayment on demand"
