I have a current account with Barclays and have had for years.I have been paying PPI on my overdraft since 1998. A friend told me that it is possible to claim PPI back as in some cases it has been mis-sold.I phoned the bank and asked them to send me a copy of the agreement I signed for the PPI, as I don't ever remember signing anything. I have got a letter back, saying they don't have it as it is over 6 years ago.
In 1998 I only had an overdraft of £300. I can't imagine why I would have taken it out as I had a good job and if I had got sick or unemployed I would of been able to russel up £300 to pay it off. I now however and for the last 3 years have an overdraft of £2500. When it was £300 it was just pennies that I would pay,but now it is alot.
Do I have a claim do you think?
Thanks in advance
PPI on an overdraft first Ive heard of that , the lengths banks goto to push these policies out is truly amazing.
If they have no agreement why are they still taking the payments.
