I have been following along and have managed to get a really good offer from Barclaycard (1,200)!!! I need to write a letter back but cannot find one with the correct wording? Iknow that it has to contain bits like making sure credit file is adjusted, does anyone have a template I can use?

Thank you for your reply, sorry for barclaycard acepting the refund of charges claim. They have offered 3/4 of the original claim which I want to settle for, but need to send a letter accepting this?

I am prepared to accept your offer of £ xxxx.00 as a Full & Final settlement of my claim, on the understanding that any adverse information provided to the Credit reference agencies is removed.
I understand that at least £100.00 of this refund will be used to settle any outstanding balance on my credit card and would like the balance of £ XXXX.00 paid to me via cheque

Can I ask why you're so keen to accept only 75% of your charges.
BC are currently refunding all charges in the last 6 years and usually adding a flat 8% on top as a bonus. And you won't even need to issue a court claim.
Assuming your total charges are approx £1800, that's £600 of your money which you're letting them get away with.
Of course, it's your prerogative, but if you change your mind, let us know..............
