Started thread last Saturday under successful claim against LTSB since July 2007. Wanted the following:
"However, what I would greatly appreciate is a link to cases settled by Lloyds since july 2007 with claim numbers. I have searched in vain, trying the successes sub forum."
Have received no useful responses. I Know that these used to be available on CAG for Barclays.

Thanks very much. Unfortunately these all predate the OFT Bank Course case. What I'm looking for is exactly what you've provided since July 2007. This is in order to fight any application they make for a stay.

Hmn tis a difficult one.
Theres a few reasons.
Firstly the Berwick case actually stopped a few from claiming (was a case won-but mainly because of Berwicks poor defence)
Secondly the CAG database relies on users giving the information so it can be added.
A search which even using site team tools meant to benefit, has thrown up almost nothing.
Then of course there are users who have won through hardship-which has not been recorded.
I can only suggest that you put an appeal out in the Lloyds forum for this info.
I understand the reasons why you want a list, however this would only form part of an arguement in your application.
Banks have defended these submissions by saying that cases are dealt with on individual case by case basis, and many things are taken into account in choosing to settle.
Most for commercial reasons.
Therefore presenting a list of settled cases, does within itself not prove substantive.
Hope that helps a little.

That's very useful - thanks. It was never meant to be substantive - just to add a little extra weight - they made a verbal offer of full settlement and then unilaterally rescinded the offer. If they go for a stay we just want as much ammo as possible - settled cases since July 2007 would therefore be very useful as it shows them and the court we mean business.
