Hi Recieved notice letter today from a s securi-t ltd, got the "ticket" in Sept, read on this site about waiting before contacting them. So now that they have the keepers address, should I send them a form letter, or just ignore all letters? The car was parked in a free store carpark, and notice stated that the vehicle had stayed longer than allowed. Standard extortionate fee, £70 then £94. Thanks for any help, and great site.

They obviously want their Christmas Bonus.......come on now be charitable its getting harder for these types to make a quid in these credit crunching times.
Seriously they can't keep increasing their charges. That's one of the first things a judge will strip from a claim.

If I ignore it then the fine would go up and up then what would be the outcome.Court case or not
Hi Solid,
Welcome to the site, there are quite a few folks here that know what they are doing, lots of help. Have a read about these type of firms...!!. Just wait it out, and do not reply,do not call or write.
The driver of my car got a "parking charge notice" in Sept. He/she will not be paying. I know that the letters may scare you, thats what they are ment to do. Just relax and have a look at all the other comments on this site and wait. Good luck and stick it out and stick it to these "biznesmen"!.
If I wrote to you asking for £94 would you pay me? Of course you wouldn't because I have no legal right to that money and neither do A.S.Securi-T. The fine you have refered to is not a fine, it is an invoice/begging letter. Whether the fine goes up or not A.S.Securi-T (under contract law) would have to show that the fine reflected the cost of the alleged breach of contract that occured from you allegedly breaking their parking rules. A private parking charge (often referred to as a fine) must not be punitive as local authority ones are as they are backed by the Road Traffic Act 1991.
In short, these clowns haven't got a leg to stand on and you must definately note pay anything to them.

Just thought I would give a heads up on this item. After the second letter was ignored, never heard from them again. So like everyone here says 'just ignore the letters and do not contact them'. CAG thanks for the help and the advice.

Well done; however, I'm hardly surprised given the ppc involved - this lot are chaotic at best - they probably forgot that they even issued you with one of their unenforceable invoices lol.
