Written by John Kruse, one of the leading experts on Bailiff Law, this consumer friendly guide is essential reading for anyone who comes into contact with a bailiff.
The book is easy to understand and clearly explains the rights
a bailiff has, and also what they cannot do when collecting debts and repossessing goods etc.
Civil Enforcement Now There is a serious claim being made there i.e. "It is noteworthy that Consumer Action Group does have a mod that is on the side of parking companies and often passes information to them for a fee - Morally it is wrong but sometimes fire is only attacked with fire so it evens the score." We have no way of substantiating or falsifying this claim so perhaps the Mods here could.
It should be noted that forums such as PePiPoo and Consumer Action group are profit making organisations
a) why believe anything else
b) even if it were true, what exactly could be passed on
c) of course it will be denied, but what does that prove either way
Well I don't believe a word of it. If it was true, the last thing I'd want is for it to be known. It's a wind up, in the hope of starting a witch-hunt. Don't give them the satisfaction.
Here's a quote from another thread re:CEN :

contents of PMs are that: private, so no. IP addresses, even though it is possible to do so, what could be gained from that? :-?
As MB says, since the post starts with:
It should be noted that forums such as PePiPoo and Consumer Action group are profit making organisations
which is not true, then you can and should take the rest with a pinch of salt.
I suppose it would be nice for them to convince everyone that there is a 5th columnist so that people wouldn't dare asking for advice on here... Somehow, I can't see that happening.
This is especially amusing the day after I got my MSE newsletter, seems that Martin is going to start his own PPC guide too, thereby spreading the message even further. Oh dear, that's a bummer for the PPCs which rely on people's ignorance. No offence to Pepipoo intended, they do a grand job, but they're not a huge forum and the advice was fairly contained. Then CAG gets in there and the message spreads. Now MSE and its massive weekly circulation? And there's always the possibility he will do a TMcD special like he did with the bank charges... Oh dear oh dear, if I were a PPC, I'd be VERY worried.
Apologies to people who I was in the process of helping, I may be gone some time.
It's a forum for the BPA "magazine" which was unused until someone mentioned it on pepipoo. Sadly some people have posted a great deal of spam on there.
