im so lost now with this PPI stuff,just recived 4 files from Halifax,there all computer copied stuff which i just dont understand what its for etc one of then has on the front halifax personnel loan repayments cover is this ppi???
Yes this is for PPI. I think they send you all this computer talk stuff to batter your head and hope that you give up!! Read through it all carefully though you may just find something useful in there!! Are you claiming mis-sold PPI?
ive read threw but still dont understand it,,yes i think they added this onto my loan with out my knowledge?also i dont no what the other accounts are? i did have a morgage out with them but it doesnt state this on the files they sent me not sure i have original copies of accounts now? this is so hard to do
It will be worth it hopefully. What did you write in the first instance to claim mis-sold PPI ie what reasons did you give for mis-selling? What is their response? Halifax are a pain with PPI and admitting it has been mis-sold, even when they agree they tell you they are putting the refund in your account which will be swallowed up. I am just sending my complaint to the fos today stick that in your pipe Halifax!!
i used the template from hear which was the one that says

I understand that you currently hold details of my personal and financial information within your internal record systems with regard to personal loan accounts And or credit cards
Please supply me with a complete list of transaction and charges relating to my history with your organization, INCLUDING Loans and or credit cards, payment protectioninsurance and other products. Alternatively a complete set of statements for the accounts or associated accounts is acceptable. I would be grateful if you would provide the following for ALL accounts or associated accounts I have held with your organization:
-Full copies of all contracts which you believe exist or have existed between myself and your organization, including true copies of any documents you hold in support of the same.
- A complete list of all transactions or statements relating to ALL of my Loan Accounts and or credit card with your organization.
-Copies of all documents which include any of my personal information including copies of any contacts or invoices, emails or computer records containing my personal information, or any records which pertain to this information.
-Full copies or transcripts of any correspondence in postal, email or any other format which you have entered into with any individual, organization or third party which contains my personal or financial, or which pertains to me.
- Where any previous information or records held have been deleted or disposed of, the methods used to do so, including dates, certificates or references confirming details of destruction. Where you are unable to provide such certificates, please provide a declaration, signed by an authorised officer of your company, confirming the dates and methods of destruction of this data.
-Full hard copy print outs of my personal or financial information, held in a digital, magnetic or any other format which is held in any archives, backups or other storage devices / locations.
IF YOU UNABLE TO DEAL WITH THIS REQUEST, YOU SHOULD IMMEDIATELY FORWARD IT TO THE PERSON WITHIN YOUR ORGANISATION RESPONSIBLE FOR DATA PROCECTION.

They then asked me for 10.00 then they sent me this lot???
They can charge you £10 for this info. To be honest I sent the same for mine and OH Halifax info and got all of this computer screen printouts etc but they took over 3 weeks to fully comply with everything- it must have cost them about £40 in postage!!! So there may be more in the post which is more understandable and actually pertains to what you want to know. Is there an agreement in there which tells you how much PPI etc and how it was executed ie did you sign for PPI or was it a tick box. Don't let it get you down you will get there!
then i have 1 for my loan which says for £15,000 loan monthly amount 135.33 monthly payment for repayment insurance 14.04 total amount payable per month is 149.37?
i think for these i went into the branch she did it all on her computer if i remeber rightly?i cant remeber agreeing to any PPI ! how long will i wait to see if there is more to come ?so they sent you this lot then you got more later? what if this is it tho?
chinnygirl, I am the wrong person to ask about uploading agreements, I tried about 20 times and just conceded defeat!!! Photobucket is what most people use on here. Have you got a scanner? Apparently you scan your document (the original loan agreement with the figures on-block out your personal details) Once you have scanned it into photobucket,you copy and paste the bottom link into your post. Sounds easy? well I couldn't do it, but I'm sure your more computer literate than me
