Default DVLA Clamp - no time recorded so how do i know when 24hours is up?

Totally my fault and I accept full responsibility for the clamp i got, but...

There's no time left written on the note attached to the clamped car, so how on earth am I meant to know when the time is up?

For all I know it could be 9am tomorrow (which of course is the time the "call centre" opens!)

If there is no time on the ticket then THEY cannot show that you are aware of the time that the car was ticketed.

I would suggest that their only recourse would be to wait until 24 hours has passed after 12 mn rolling over to the next day and that way they can show that they allowed you the full 24 hours.

However their "clamper" will probably have a log of what time he clamped your car.

Someone told me that if I removed the 3 wheels not clamped that there is no way they can safely lift the vehicle and must then contact the registered keeper .............. this is because they usually put the clamps on and remove vehicles around 7am to avoid confrontation.

Dealing with a similar problem at the moment myself.
