Written by John Kruse, one of the leading experts on Bailiff Law, this consumer friendly guide is essential reading for anyone who comes into contact with a bailiff.
The book is easy to understand and clearly explains the rights
a bailiff has, and also what they cannot do when collecting debts and repossessing goods etc.
Need help with this lot on behalf of my daughter - she has her car with them and it was written off whilst parked outside of her house by a drunk driver - the insurance company has taken it away and told her about the write off - they have offered £1100 which they say has to be paid to WCF as the HPI registerd interest determines this - she is left with no car and a remaining £6k debt through no fault of her own!
WCF have stated that her GAP insurance expired IN April 2008 - are they able to grant loans where GAP does not cover the whole of the financing period?
Got a distraught daughter and I am cross too! Any ideas?
